Some stuff are just unexplainable...

"To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams."
 -Giorgio de Chirico
Or, it doesn't have any logic behind it. It's just that. Plain and Simple yet complex. I want to apologize for the lack of updates in my blog. It has been a whirl wind for me. One of the factors is school. My first term is almost done in about 2 weeks. (I don't have any final exams but Oral recitations and Poetry Recital) I'm still hyped with everything that is around me. Opportunities that are opening for me that I have to seized, my aunt suggests that I should try all of them, as much as possible and as long as I can still keep up with it, because they only come once. (I'll share what are those once they're out there or published :P) Anyhoo, I'm still inspired about what my Literature professor shared at her class yesterday and it's all about surrealism.

My definition of surrealism is something that is real and also unreal or distorted but rather shows how a train of thought process itself. It's like being random but in the end it still makes sense, or so I thought. It's just amazing that even if we don't think systematically or just write/draw whatever comes into our mind , our minds still give us interesting things.

My professor even 'stopped' me from explaining what's the meaning behind a surrealist art or prose/poem because she told me that there are things that doesn't need any reasons nor explanations. It just happens.

So from that , I've learned that we can also apply the idea of surrealism. Being spontaneous and free of thinking. It helps to let our creative juices flow without being conscious or being logical about it. It makes us dive into a new whole lot experiences that we never imagined that we can do it , enjoy it or love it. It's like taking a risk on something even if we do know 90% doesn't makes sense anymore. It'll all come to three things, be open minded, take the plunge and taste it:)
