I've been trying to do these kind of stuff but can't . Now, I've done it already, Streetblogging.. It's kind of hard to do it here in our country because Pinoy style is reall different from the Western people, because they do a lot of layerings and if someone will do it. People may think that person is crazy or something. Because the temperature in the country is really HOT. What more on the coming days . So Pinoys are more on fabrics which are light. Or anything with shrts, I think?

been lately looking for shoes.

Ok , after my midterm defense , I've been thinking that I should reward myself so new shoes. Then , while I was looking for my candidates. I've found these following shoes from VNC at MOA. I've managed to look for the pictures of some of their shoes. I'll be back at the mall to buy a pair of shoes and you guys will see what pair of shoes have won my attention. First , why did i like them?

This first pair makes me feel dainty and girly. It also reminds me of being a Pinoy because of the abaca like fabric that was used at that shoe. I love how high these shoes are. But I'm still thinking of the practical side of it , because when i buy something , I want to make sure I can match it to 2-3 ensemble. But if you're girly enough . Go and buy these shoes. :P

This second pair of shoes is really casual and I know it will match to any outfit that I want. Especially , it looks so sexy but the garter like straps makes the look balance.

Ok , I honestly think that these shoes makes my feet look good and proportional. I have a big pair of feet , kasi :D. I want shoes that makes my feet look small and petite.  It looks so chic too. If Serena from gossip girl will shop here at Philippines , I believe these shoes will be one of Serena's Checklist to buy.

This last picture , has this eclectic flair to me. It's earthy and perfect for summer. I love the braid detailing of the shoes. Something is really unique from these pair of shoes.

I really love VNC's design on shoes and they cater to women who looks for adventure.why so? because every shoe design, that they have , has its own personality to it. :D

The stuff that makes me happy :D

Before , I'll go to work on a school project, I want to share the stuff that makes me happy and what made me happy for the day.

Stuff and People that makes me happy :D.

1. My Mom and Dad
- They're truly understanding. Especially my dad, i taught he was going to yell at me while i was telling him about my subject problems and I told him that I want to shift before it's too late. I'm glad that his reply made me calm and was given permission to shift.

2. Chuck!!
- He's my new puppy . and he sleeps besides me haha he's so cuddly.

3. Books and Blogs
- Ok. haha I really love books and love reading them. its as if talking to the author itself. Then my best friend influenced me to try reading an e-book since i always bring my laptop anywhere. Haha good news my dear friend, i've downloaded 3 e-books and will start reading them on my breaks.

- blogs, they're the ones that makes me open to some new ideas. and they're refreshing somehow since it takes a different view on a certain subject. though the blogs i read the most are about fashion and photography.

4. SHOES!!
- i'm a self-confessed late bloomer. I've become girly at the later stage of my highschool year. So , still i'm short on shoes but still , this year, i'll save and buy new shoes to satisfy my cravings. Atleast, i'm spending my money on something not on drugs, right :P?

3 events made me happy today

1. My dad called and I miss him so much. I cried while I was talking to him.
2. I was talking/twitting to a fellow blogger , Alexandra Lapa. I've stumbled to her blog last night and i love her features on fashion. I envy her because she's a stylist. I hope i can work with you po :P and meet you in person.

Hey Honey B :P

Hey guys , this is the latest music video of ,yours truly, Lady Gaga.  I really love her as a performer and a singer. She has great sense of style and a confident woman. I do believe she's one version of a woman that is strong and knows what she likes. It shows on how she dresses up , whether on stage , music videos or just going around the city. 
She's one of my idols because she's never afraid of saying what she wants and what she means.

 I believe , she's wearing a Viktor and Rolf here.

I love her outfits in this video , and her dance with Beyonce. I hope they would collab more in the future :D

I can still feel the BALMAIN-IA EFFECT

I'm really sorry for my lack of updates. I've been struggling to finish my group's midterm project, which we had defended awhile ago....
Anyway , my love for writing and fashion has not been alleviated. After the defense , my friend and i went to Mall of Asia awhile ago. To de-STRESS. I was supposed to by some stuff for me to wear next saturday for another Slim's Lecture this coming Saturday. Fortunately, I'll be coming with my friend. But I ended up not buying anything because my friend said we should shop together on Friday. Anyhoo,  Yippee Yay.
Though I can't go to my HS friend's party/debut because I dont feel like going because of what happened this morning, defense period. It was not that horrible but still I felt so bad because some databases lost their values...Navicat , I hate you so much that I will never use you again. Especially , if I will not have any failures for this term because I'll shift to another course which I really wanted from the start.

Anyway enough about my life, let's talk about fashion. I've been always a fan of Balmain because of their jackets. Last March 4 , 2010. They've never disappointed me. What I love about this collection is how baroque it is and some cutout jackets were , I think , inspired from the time King Louis XIV. I love the gold gown. It's ethereal and fit for a goddess body. The jackets and suits are breathtaking. I want to report/defend our projects in those , if only were allowed to. Bailmain designs , I think, are for ladies who wants something for a change. It's like a chocolate to make you hyper. Energizer. Or an adventure . Here's a collage I made ,where i've used photos that i like from the collection.

Yes , the bitch is back!
But I'm underwhelmed with its comeback. C'mon , Nate and Serena making out on the first quarter of the episode. But they look so hot . But still though there's a new plot that is coming up but i will not tell it for the benefit of those who haven't seen it. :P I just adore this ad , first time from me,  it just shows that they're using the show's strengths to market it. haha

McQueen forever and Ever (FRTW2010)

Last March 9 , 2010 in Paris , France, was the day of the runway show for the last collection of our late , fashion designer, Alexander McQueen. I thought this wouldn't be shown forever or something. I really love the design aesthetics of this man. If you'll click the picture below , and zoom it in, you could see in the picture how crafty and  the detail are very intricate. At a first glance , you wouldn't notice the print that he made( or asked someone to reproduce it). If you're studying or a patron of paintings , you might see gothic and romantic paintings printed on them. I didn't include the other one which reminds me of the Celtic art because the prints look likes they've got it from illuminated manuscript. I think its kind of a genius to work something beautifully before you leave this world, generally speaking. It's as if he left a mark to us that even though he's not there anymore , his legacy will continue.

the pictures that ive posted above are my favorites. I really love the dress with fethered bodice and  multi-layered tulle with embroidery. I'm having this feeling  that one of his works will be part of Smithsonian Art Collection. :D
